大家好，我叫Tess。我来自美国，毕业于华盛顿的美国大学，拥有国际关系学学士学位。毕业之后，我担任过私人家教的工作并以此提高我的教学技巧。我认为学习一门新语言好的动力就是让课堂充满趣味，同时关注鼓励每个学生的进步。我还觉得让孩子们把从课堂中学到的知识运用到日常社会生活中是重要的。平时十分热爱旅游和了解各国文化的我，希望能够把这种热情带给我的学生们。除了教学和旅游之外，我还喜欢听歌，读书和跑步。在中国的每一天于我而言都是一种美好的经历。我去过北京和上海，两地的地铁交通和上海的外滩夜景都给我留下了很深印象，希望以后能有更多的机会游历中国的大好河山！

　　　I　come　from　the　United　States　of　America.　I　have　a　bachelor　of　Arts　in　International　Relations　　from　American　University　in　Washington　DC.　While　earning　my　degree　I　spent　my　free　time　nannying　and　spent　the　years　after　I　graduated　developing　my　teaching　skills　through　a　private　tutoring　service.　I　believe　the　best　motivation　for　learning　a　new　language　is　an　ability　to　have　fun　in　the　classroom　and　to　take　pride　in　one’s　progress.　I　also　believe　in　showing　my　students　how　they　can　apply　the　skills　they　learn　in　the　classroom　to　their　lives　outside　of　EF.　I　am　very　passionate　about　traveling　and　experiencing　other　cultures　and　hope　to　instill　this　　passion　in　my　students.　Outside　of　teaching　and　traveling　I　enjoy　listening,　reading,　and　　running.　Since　being　in　China　everyday　has　been　an　adventure.　I’ve　loved　experiencing　the　　Beijing　underground　and　the　Shanghai　waterfront　and　can’t　wait　for　more　exciting　new　　experiencing!
