在中国参加托福考试并申请签证成绩依然有效

重庆晨报讯（记者 张梦云）因英国留学移民机构为考生作弊被曝光，导致英国内政部暂停国内ETS主持的全部英语考试（包括托福、托业等）的事件发生后，引发全球留学机构和学子的高度关注，一时间，消息满天飞。近日，英国驻重庆总领事馆文化教育处有关人士向重庆晨报记者表示：“暂停托福考试对在中国国内申请的学生没有影响。”

这位人士表示，“在英国以外参加考试并申请签证的考生并不受此次事件影响。”如果学生在英国的签证申请受影响，英国签证和移民局会书面通知他们。如果中国学生在英国遇到相关紧急问题，可拨打热线：咨询。

据了解，ETS的考试项目在英国被暂停事件所引发的一些疑虑，英国内政部和美国教育考试服务中心已发表联合声明称：“英国内政部已经确认申请人在英国以外参加考试并申请签证的，托福和托业成绩依然有效。”

新东方前途出国重庆分公司总经理曹亮表示，尽管他们接到了一些英国高校发出的拒绝托福成绩申请的通知，但由于选择托福作为赴英留学考试的学生占比非常小，所以影响人数有限。
